Anca Campanie
Anca Campanie is an established violinist & violin teacher based in Southampton, UK.
Following a solo career spanning many years, countries and concert halls, featuring concertos with orchestras across Europe, Anca now focusses her time on a growing number of violin & viola students at school, college and in her acclaimed teaching studio.
She studied at the Salzburg Mozartem, Menuhin Academy in Switzerland, and gained a Master's degree from the Royal College of Music in London, where she studied with Yuri Zhislin. Throughout her career she was mentored by Maestro Eugene Sarbu.
Anca is a passionate, dedicated teacher and coach. She has a proven track record of examination results, and works with students of all ages & standards from youngsters up to the highest level, including guiding pupils to conservatoire & university entry, success in diploma exams, and places in the National Youth Orchestra and at the UK’s top specialist music schools.
She is violin and viola teacher at Winchester College, King Edward VI School Southampton, and Peter Symonds College, where she coaches students on the Hampshire Music Specialist Course. Anca works regularly with ensembles as a chamber music and sectional coach, has taught violin at the University of Southampton, and been a string section coach for Essex Youth Orchestra, Southampton Youth Orchestra and the SÓN Orchestra 'Supersónic' youth orchestra programme.
Anca runs a busy private teaching studio in Hampshire, and her students can be seen at music festivals and competitions throughout the south of England.
She is expanding her online teaching profile and welcomes enquiries from students anywhere around the globe for regular mentoring online, and for consultation lessons towards auditions, competitions and masterclasses.
